Uranus
“The ice giant Uranus as a small, featureless teal-green disk.”
At over 2.8 billion kilometers away, Uranus resolves as little more than a small, softly glowing teal-green disk even at high magnification — its faint cloud bands and rings lie well beyond the reach of amateur equipment. The distinct color comes from methane in its atmosphere absorbing red sunlight while reflecting blue-green.
